Tab Wizard: Report Printer / Windows 7 Compatibility

Dear Tab Wizard customer,

 

We have been experiencing compatibility issues with the latest Report Printer (8.5" x 11") hardware and non-compatibility problems with newer printers and Windows 7 Operating Systems. This is because printer hardware is now being developed with technology software/drivers designed to work with today’s technology. As a result, many customers still using Windows 7 computers for their Tab Wizard systems now face choices to make.

 

There are very few printers that are compatible with your Windows 7 computers. We suggest that you search on Amazon, eBay, Office Depot, or similar sites to locate a compatible printer for your current system. With these printers becoming more scarce every day, if your current printer becomes inoperable and needs to be replaced, Tab Wizard will not provide a replacement. However, we can assist in installing a Windows 7 compatible printer that you find via remote support.

 

The alternative is to update your current hardware to a newer system compatible with today’s technology, such as Windows 10 or 11. The majority of newer printers today only support Windows 10 or higher.

 

If your current system setup has more than one computer, please consider your choices as you may find that you need to replace all systems to update to the current version of Windows.

This notice does not apply to Receipt, Bar, Kitchen printers.
